LOCATION WE VISITED
15 Vanderbilt Avenue (off 43rd Street), New York, NY 10017
Typically, we wouldn’t think to stop in a restaurant or bar that’s housed at a transit station but glad we followed our instinct. Located in Grand Central Station (Terminal 15), this bar is clearly a throwback from the early days of the 1900’s. It serves up modern and classic cocktails, good wine selection and local craft beers. Even if you didn’t take the train…. Stop in and hang out with the NY locals for a drink or three. I had the Grand Central Spritz (Grey Goose vodka, St Germaine + mint, topped with Prosecco) along with a Stormy Mule (Brugal Anejo rum). The bartenders make great drinks, are very responsive and quite friendly (in a NYC kinda way).
