LOCATION WE VISITED
U.S. 10 East. 904 Memorial Drive
This old train depot has been transformed into a space fit for a modern-day Gatsby. There’s a sexy retro vibe that you get when you walk in and the menu and cocktails play right into the overall theme. It makes you want to come dressed in your finest threads for a good ole meal and prohibition style cocktail! Our favorite appetizer is the Garlic Knots, and we both agree that the most interesting dish on the menu is the Okonomiyaki. It’s served with basil, mint, togarashi and bonito and looks like it’s alive on the plate! No worries, is not alive… lol. And although we haven’t sampled every cocktail on the menu, we’re convinced that you can’t go wrong with any of them. Our favorites are the Flannel Blazer (Bourbon, Suze, Honey, Lemon, Rosemary, Cinnamon) and the Old Pal (Rye Whiskey, Campari, Bianco Vermouth). Oh yeah… did we mention that they have a Friday/Saturday after midnight menu that serves Pigs-in-a-Blanket??!!! Just another reason why this is one of our favorites spots.
