LOCATION WE VISITED
820 Washington St, New York, NY 10014
Santina is dubbed as a coastal Italian restaurant with a menu that highlights vegetable and fish dishes. We definitely agree considering they offer dishes like Italian Chickpea Pancakes, Giardinia Crudite (raw seasonal vegestables), Branzino Crudo, Spaghetti Blue Crab and Eggplant Parmigiana. The food and drinks we selected from the brunch menu were delish. We ordered the grilled fish sandwich with pepper onion slaw, Tortellini Sorrentina, almond pancakes with berries, a side of spicy potatoes, bacon, sausage and washed it down with the Amalfi Gold cocktail. It’s made with bourbon, orange, ginger and peach. The staff and service was great… the waiter explained the menu, provided suggestions and was prompt with our food and drink orders. The next time we stop in for some eats, we will be sure to try a couple more of the pasta and seafood dishes because it doesn’t look like you can go wrong with anything on their menu. One more cool factor about Santina… it’s located below the High Line, so you can grab a bite to eat, have a drink and then head upstairs to enjoy the view of the city from an elevated park.
